Re: **DISCONTINUED!!** PRA Group Letter Before Claim

Thanks Amethyst, that's put my mind at ease about the possibility of more court papers dropping through the door in the future about this.

Thanks also for marking the thread with the Discontinued!! Hopefully other people arriving freshly to the site will find this while searching, and it will help point them in the right direction on how to proceed, and give at least a possibility of light at the end of the tunnel.

Hi, I have this week received a letter from PRA Group informing me that an account has been transferred to the investigations and Litigation Department. They say it is a letter before claim as required by the Practice Direction on Pre-Action Protocols.

I have previously received a letter from PRA informing me that they have deemed the alleged debt as 'unenforceable'. I believe this threatened action to be a last ditch attempt before the alleged debt becomes unenforceable as six years from the alleged default will have elapsed in May '19. Any help on this one would be much appreciated.
