Do you have these peoples names? It sounds likely there's something possibly ID theft here.

You could check with court about the name originally on the claim

Do you have the name of the person the claim was originally issued against?

It might help to contact the lender involved?

              Re: ccj different money

Yeah I have their name. Really courts should have verified my details. If this guy has other debts I am in real trouble because as soon as its on my file I will start getting all sorts of letters. I am going to have to start looking out for his letter's

Keep your eyes on your credit files and if anything shows up contest/dispute it immediately.

                    Re: ccj different money

Different Money would need to know and ask a lot of info and questions on you to send over the money, from what you are saying I believe you should be going to the Police on this matter

                      Re: ccj different money

They should have done some verification before sending money so I will get it set aside today and hopefully they will come back and say this is the link they have which makes them think the other guy is me which I can then dispute. At the moment I don't know why they have made the connection

If you get the Judgment set aside the £255 can be claimed off the claimants.

Did you have a loan with Different money at all, ever ?

                          Re: ccj different money

No I never, I stopped the payday loan thing 4 years ago and have never gone back. So their solicitors must have had some good proof for the district judge to allow or it was just a rubber stamping process

So do you have copies of the documents from the court - that may shed some light on it. the defendants details couldn't be amended without permission of the court and the defendant so be useful to see exatcly what they have told you happened. Can take a pc with smart phone if it's clear - and email me admin@legalbeagles.info - or redact your personal details and post up on here.
