Hi guys,
Great forum you have here.
My issue is not massively different to many of the others who are posting here.
I received a county court letter dated 8th Jan 2016 (didn't receive it until the 16th, and I didn't physically see it until a few days after).
This is for a Capital One credit card that I was unable to pay - defaulted in mid-2011. The particulars of the claim, to summarise, reads, "Agreement between Cap One defendant on or around Dec 2010, defendant failed to pay and agreement was terminated, agreement was assigned to the claimant. Claimant is claiming £300ish (three-hundred).
I have since written a CCA request - I presume this is to go to Cabot? I have also drafted the CPR request which I presume goes to Mortimer Clarke? Is the £1 postal order only to be accompanied with the CCA letter, and not the CPR?
I have already acknowledged this online (done yesterday - 13 days after the date on their letter) with intend to defend, My letter does not indicate a court date or anything, so I am just wondering what the next steps are? What normally happens/should happen from here?
Thanks for your help in advance.
