    You must notify the court in writing of the extension otherwise the court
    process carries on regardless.

          As I have called the court today been advised to send an email to court.

            I have been following your case and its just few days ahead of me and is with Mortimer as well. I received the same letter as well. Can you please give me the email address as i couldnt find one.

                NOTE: If you receive a court claim note these dates in your calendar ...
                Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service

                Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

                If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
