    in short LOWELL had eight defaulted mobile phone accounts on my credit file - they have since removed five saying that they were fraud and agreed with me they were - now they have left three on my file which are for more money -saying they dont believe they are fraud even tho they are connected to same address and one same company other two seperate -any advise on what my next move should be -any help would be much appreciated - thanks

    First thing I guess is are the other three fraud as well ?

    Have you had contact with the original companies about the fraud ?

      YEA -OTHERS are vodofone cannot reply to Lowell with solid info -and it has been 3 months now -Lowell keep saying they are waiting for details and this after 3 months-all Lowell have said is the account will be put on hold till respnse come back -how long after 3 months now is that going to take i wonder - I started asking like april -thanks

        Have you reported the fraudulent accounts to Action Fraud?
        The CRA file entries should be reported to the ICO once you
        have a ref: No. from Action Fraud.
        Warn Lowell that you have done so.
        Bear in mind that Lowell did not originate these defaults,
        the original creditor (s) first placed the entries and Lowell
        just updated the files.

        Formal Complaints to the CEO's of each company would be
        a good idea imo.

          I have not done this -but told equifax that accounts were fraud -so maybe i should contact action fraud now then
          thanks - never knew about this

            I have been on the phone to vodafone being passed from on department to another 1hour 30mins approx - they have told me they cannot do anything now -and when i gave them the original account number from lowells paperwork they say nothing is coming up for this account -and seeing debt was sold to lowells they can only be contacted by me and vodafone can do nothing - I was on phone to lowell being put through to superviser who said they still waiting to hear from vodafone and account on hold but since april geesh --so dunno what to do next
