Re: Court Claim - SLL Capital Limited / Full Pocket Ltd (dissolved in 2014) - 20-3-2
A certificate of satisfaction only applies if you pay in full AFTER the one month 'grace' period, and the CCJ will still be in place both on the record and on the OP's credit files, I very much doubt the certificate of satisfaction would make much difference to lenders who come across a CCJ on record. :mmph:

If I got this correctly, the OP is still within the one month period during which the CCJ can be paid off, wiped off the public record and not recorded on their credit files, in which case no-one will ever know about the CCJ. :tinysmile_kiss_t4: There's quite a significant difference between the two:

Satisfying the record
Lenders look at information from the CCJ register when deciding whether to offer credit or not. Getting a mortgage with a CCJ, for instance, can be difficult.
If the register shows you’ve got a CCJ and haven’t paid it off, it’s even more difficult to get credit.
If you pay a CCJ more than a month after the judgment date, it stays on the register for six years. There is no way to remove it.
If you've paid the CCJ in full, however, you can apply to have it shown as satisfied by showing the court your receipt. If you can't get this type of proof, the court will write to the person who won the CCJ.

There are some options to remove a CCJ from the Register or have the information on it corrected. These include:
- Paying the CCJ in full within a month If you do this, details of the county court judgment are removed altogether from the register.
- Paying the CCJ later You can get a certificate of satisfaction, in which case the CCJ is marked as satisfied on the register (but stays on it). Anyone who checks it will know that you have paid what you owe.
