Please help!!
Right guys...I need of help pls! Here's me story....
I was shopping in tesco with my little 2 year ols girl few weeks bk, she was taking things off the shelves and running around like a naughty child. I had things on top of the pram in the seat underneath, I got to the checkout and paid for what I thought was everything, I just wanted to get out...I suffer from panic attacks and I just needed to leave! Couldn't cope anyway, as I grabbed my little angel and went down the esculator I was greeted by 2 security officers and I had forgotten the things in the basket under pushchair!!!! I could have died! I apologised loads and offered to pay but it was a firm NO and into the holding room with myself and child to wait for the police!! On police arrival I have to admit they were great, talked to me and my daughter made her feel at ease after the long, uncomfortable wait!! Listened to me and checked I wasn't a serial shoplifter then told me to be more careful and that was it!! Tesco on the other hand have no forwarded my details to rlp who sent me a letter demanding £147.50 in costs!! How do they get that amount? All goods in sellable condition and a honest mistake! I have 3 kids it's 10 days til Christmas 😯 I haven't got that amount of spare cash....All useful advice would be appreciated, I know I did wrong and I'm dealing with that but whats my nxt step???
