Made an amendment to my claim form, can the defendant claim cost for changing his defence paper? Even though I'm they victim ? Courious

If you make an amendment after defence then yes costs can fall to you.

Costs of amendments
Applicants who obtain permission to amend are often ordered to pay the other parties’ “costs of
and caused by” the application (as to the meaning of such an order, see the Costs Practice
