20th of October is 33 days from the date of issue, do I have to send any documents for defence to anybody or is turn up at court?

Re turning up at court, you have a long way before that's needed (if it goes that far) once you enter your defence, the claimant has 28 days to respond, then you will get a 'directions questionnaire' where you can ask for the claim to be moved to your local court, and for any dates you aren't able to do etc (case management stuff really) also can ask for specific directions for Lowell to be forced to evidence any payments made within 6 years., then a month after that you might get a court date come through for in a couple months time, so maybe Feb before you'd have to think about attending any hearing.
