  • Can anyone recommend a good Solicitor - Welcome Finance

I am currently fighting a County Court Summons claim with IND on behalf of Welcome Finance, however I am very busy and work long hours, whislt I have done a lot to try and delay and gather evidence, I really do not have the time or interest in this, all I know is I do not want a CCJ against my name!
Can anyone recommend a good Solicitor who understands these kind of cases? I am in Dorset.

One of the best is Miller Gardner in Manchester. Rodney Gardner might be able to get any action stayed until a pending appeal by Welcome is heard & YOU counter claim against them because there will be little doubt their agreement is faulty or includes mis-sold PPI

PS I have no links with MG other than someone I know is using them AND they live in Dorset

Thanks, might be worth a look! I have already claimed over £3,000 in misold PPI from them, then a few years later I recieve this claim, even though on all my credit records its says all my loans with Welcome settled! I have inconsitent paperwork from them too! Thanks for your advice, and I welcome anymore.

If you have such paperwork then make an application NOW to have their claim struck out using that as evidence

Do you think your Welcome loan is actually settled (ie did you settle it) or its just marked as such on the credit file and has been passed over to debt collectors?

Its just marked as such on credit file, their argument is that they no longer put payment history on the Credit Files. I thought after they paid out my PPI, they had taken the original amount owed out of this before paying me out, like my other creditors had.
I contacted Miller Gardner in Manchester, but no reply!
                Anyone else recommend anyone?

This is still going on, and waiting for a return call from Miller Gardner, however I have requested all documents from IND, which they have sent. Dispite the inaccurate paperwork, can I also get this struck out due to the fact that the copies they sent me of the credit consumer act are illegiable to read? Just trying to back up my case?

Also, do you use Form N244 to apply to get a case thrown out?
