    What is the latest with this case - we too have got a solicitor involved to help work on our case with Anglian home improvements. They are blaming the local council for not passing our build which has stopped for several months. They just bring out their legal team to intimidate people.

    If anybody is thinking of going with ANglian , please don't .Going by what I see in the local area, smaller local builders manage to get the council to sign off planning permission more efficiently than Anglian do and also do a better job. Big mistake going with Anglian. REally regret calling the salesman in at all...

              we offered a small cash payment (a fraction of what they demanded) and they accepted and that was the last of them.

              Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

              If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
