    Okay Well seems to me that the most important thing is to keep the stress out of it as much as possible - a consent order for monthly payments - or - an admission and offer to pay - backed up with your full income and expenditure sheet, set by the courts, would probably mean less stress in the long run and the CCJ (and hopefully debt) would be gone in 6 years.

    But if you can go through papers with your friend and see if this Capital One debt comes up at all then that will give us a better idea because it does feel wrong just to admit a debt you have no recollection or knowledge of.

        I have found documents about the debt and I know what it is in relation to now. It is not statute barred and I am clear on it all now. I was getting confused with a number of other things. Not unusual these days.



        I will fill out the admission form and send it tomorrow. I think that is the best way to go as I am starting to feel unwell.
