good morning all.
I have as others seemed to have recently recieved a claim form from our above friends.
its for a total of just over £1K.
i have defended the claim in full .
i have stated i have no knowledge of the debt.
i have requested CCa agreement.
SOA
i have also stated lowell have contacted me on numorous occasions and have failed to supply any documentation .
reading this forum as may have acted to quickly?
is it to late to cpr31.14 ?
is there anthing else i can submit to court?
I am awaiting BC response to my claim defence.

Is that a fact, i.e. you have no idea what this debt is for? If they've got the wrong person, then a bare denial defence should be fine. :thumb:

If you have already submitted a defence, then, yes, I'm afraid it would be too late for the CPR 31.14 letter as it's intended to request documents so you can prepare a defence in the first place. However, if you really have no knowledge of the debt, it should be OK.

The only risk I can see with this approach is if there was an old debt you could have forgotten all about, such as an old mobile contract. :noidea:
