Have been in default for close to 6 years, however not entirely sure of the exact timeline. Other debts (due to be statute barred) around this time would suggest this.

a) Firstly Acknowledgement of Serivce, this can be done online via MCOL, you are denying the whole debt.
Acknowledgement of Service gives you 14 + 14 days,

b) Send Lowells a CCA Request, make sure you get Proof of Postage.
