  • County Court form when paid response

Can I clarify the steps please after receiving a County Court claim against me from arrow global.

After receiving the claim I paid the debt in full.

Do I need to do anything with the response pack to notify the court I have since paid or does the claimant stop the further proceedings

    Many thanks

    Hi ATLAS2L8V

You can Acknowledge of Service online, then you get various options, since you've paid the claim, you can respond online.
Then the court will do what they need to do.

      Hi ECHAT11

Thanks for the reply. I have done the Acknowledge of service online as the link saying i will defend but it doesn't give me any options anywhere to state i have since paid it in full ?

Only the option to complete a N9A if i needed time to pay

      Thanks for your help

          Making a Full Admission:

If you are admitting all of the claim and wish to pay it now you should take or send the money, including any interest and costs, to the claimant.

If you are admitting all of the claim but are unable to pay immediately, you should complete the Admission form (N9A) in your response pack and send this to the claimant's address for receiving documents and payments on the front of the claim form (N1).

You should act quickly to ensure that the claimant receives the money within 14 days of the date you received the claim (the date of service). If payment does not reach the claimant within this time they may ask for judgment to be entered against you and this may affect your future ability to get credit.

Email Arrow Global, their solicitors and the court ( cbcaq@justice.gov.uk ) that payment has been made, include the claim reference in the subject line in the email.
