  • Character Assassination in small claims evidence

Hi! I’m being sued over a sale of a caravan and plot, that the seller paid me back and now wants their money back. File evidence bundle the claimant has submit has no facts just hear say no dates and extreme defamation of character to about myself. My main witness is my 10 year old child but this is inappropriate to have her in the middle of anything adult matters. Please can someone look at my file I’m desperate but also think I’ve conducted myself as legally required. I’m on universal credit with a low paid job. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you

You sold a caravan that you owned, and presumably the contract for the plot ? The buyer isn't happy and wants a refund.

What are the reasons they have given that means they aren't happy with the purchase and believe they are entitled to reject the caravan ?

Leave aside the personal stuff for the moment.

I bought the Caravan&plot of the claimant, who now claims they were the middle person. When I found out I wasn’t the legal owner I demanded I’d be refunded. They use to be friends but they ignored my phone calls and emails. I then received a cheque of the full amount. Several weeks later I received a notice of their proceedings to take me to small claims court.
