    Looks like i've ran out of time as ive just noticed they have the 4th December as when they sent the letter, I was delayed getting it as it wasn't to my address but my mother's, have I lost out now????

      I know its Christmas etc but have I messed this* claim up? The evidence i recieved shows no activity for more than 7 years

        Ok so what's the actual status of the claim at the moment ?

        original credit agreement from august 2007
        Theres no agreement in that bundle just some application info ( the doc below just to check you're talking about that ) its nothing like a credit agreement or recon of such. Or were there more docs sent ?*

        There is a default notice and notices of assignment.*

        On the statute barred side - get your bank statement from the date ( and week before/after ) they allege a payment was made to cast doubt.*

          Unless they can prove you paid the tenner in 2014 the debt is statute barred and can't be enforced. I'd go to DEFCON 3 and demand they show you proof of payment, ask how it was paid, card, cash, cheque, in person, over the phone, at a counter at a bank etc etc ... If they can't or won't go to DEFCON 2 and tell them you will see them in court.
