  • Warrant of control

I received a notice of issue of warrant control. I have received no prior letters and despute the claim of money owing to Lowell portfolio. Tried phoning them but they wouldn't give me information about the debt just that I had to pay. I have since been advised to fill in an n244 to have the judgement set aside?? Don't know if I've been informed correctly.Any advise greatly appreciated

Tell us some more about this. Is it anything to do with having a CCJ awarded against you from an old address?

For ref - Set Aside Application

and you'd ask for the warrant to be suspended at the same time.

Presumably you didn't know anything about the judgment until you received the notice of the warrant ?
How much approx is it for ?
You can contact the court ( the one that issued the warrant ) and ask if they could give you details of the claim ( ask if they can email you a copy of the claim and judgment - sometimes they will, if they say no, mention to them you have asked the claimant already and they have refused )
