    Long overdue update!

As of yesterday, I had heard nothing back from Walker Love so I emailed them asking for an update. They came this morning to say that as of yet, they have had no response from the originator. Is there a time limit on how long I should wait? That’s 2 months since my original email to Walker Love.

    thanks!

There is no claim on this is there, so the longer they fart about, the more statute barred it becomes.

So I finally received a response. They attached a ‘statement’ which is basically a one-liner, which says a payment for £75 was received on 20/02/15, however my bank statement shows no record of this payment (& I’m certain I wouldn’t have made payment any other way).

shall I ask them to elaborate on how this payment was received?

I would yes. The method of payment and who it was paid to. You can say you have checked your records and can see no payment of £75 being made on/around the relevant date, therefore you'd appreciate if they could provide further details of the alleged payment, and remind them that as things stand you consider the debt to be time barred.

So....believe it or not I have just received a reply! I absolutely cannot comprehend how it could have taken so long but anyway, this is the response.....

“ The information is not specific and just states one off payment, could be a faster payment or card payment. “

This obviously tells me nothing and I don’t consider it a proper response...!
