Hi Folks.
In 2017 I received a parking charge at John Lennon airport for stopping for about 30 seconds.
The charge was for £100 reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days.
Following your guidance I challenged the validity of their authority to do this.
Anyway 5 YEARS later after numerous threats of CCJ's etc from as many as four different dept collection agencies they took me to court.
The case was dismissed by the courts as they failed to provide evidence of an agreement with the land owner that they had permission from the land owner after 2015 to operate this business.
In fact the document they provided to the court was granted in 2013 for 24 MONTHS.
THE QUESTION IS HOW MANY PARKING CHARGES ISSUED TO PEOPLE AFTER 2015 ARE IN FACT ILLEGAL.
I would advise anybody who has been charged around this time to challenge the validity of there fine/charge.
