  • Court case documents

    Hi,

I have a court case tomorrow where I will be representing myself. I think I was supposed to send over everything I will be using at court to the claimant and the court but I have forgotten to do so. Can anyone please confirm that this is the case and what I should do as it’s only 1 day prior the court hearing. Thank you.

Normally you would be ordered to exchange documents (witness statements and evidence/exhibits) around 14 days before the hearing. On your letter giving you the hearing date was there anything mentioned about exchange of documents?

What kind of hearing / case is it ?

If you haven't been ordered to exchange documents but think you will want to refer to anything / need evidence of anything, then take it with you, and take three copies …. one for you, one for judge, one for other side.
