A County Court Claim was made against me, I put in a defence and the claim was stayed, An application was made for the stay to be lifted and for summary judgement to be made. This was rejected by a judge at Northampton as the application was not from the claimant, with Arrow Global Limited making the application. The case has been transferred to my local County Court and after phoning the County Court I found that a judge had decided that there should be an hearing. Please let me know what further information you need. Who should I tell about a change of address? The N434 came from Arrow Global Limited, who are not the claimant.
What to expect at the County Court hearing next week?

Ok well do you have the summary judgment application? and when is the hearing as you have to file your evidence before the hearing if you are going to oppose the summary judgment
Also were there solicitors involved in the early stages? otherwise i can see no reason for an N434 being sent as this is to notify that a solicitor is or is not actingI work for Roach Pittis Solicitors. I have the summary judgement application, the hearing in on the 25th (Thursday). Solicitors were involved in the early stages. It is not the egg claim. The claimant is Capquest.
I think that I can file written evidence in reply to their witness statement, which will have to be done 3 days before the hearing. CPR 24.5 (3) (b) (ii).
