  • Letter/Debt collector - Lowell

    Hi,

Had a Bailiff show up today but i was not in. I have a CCJ against, i dont have a clue what its for. I paid £400 off it and set up a direct debit of £50 a month. Then i get this today, off the same company.

    link to the letter above.

Apparently i have another CCJ against me. I have no clue what to do.

Firstly, this letter i got today, what can i do?

Secondly, the other CCJ, which i have no idea what its for, what can i do?

    Many thanks,

Okay I don't think the two are separate matters and actually are about the same thing. Unless the claim number on this letter differs to the one the bailiff quoted?

The letter should have preceded the bailiffs visit if the claim numbers are the same.

If the claimant are Lowell then it's likely this matter relates to a debt of some sort.

The fact a warrant of control has been issued means a claim was issued and therefore did you ever receive the claim form?

If you haven't then you need to contact the court to ask them what it was about and then ask them to send a copy of the claim form as you may want to consider applying to have the judgements set aside.
