Received copy of N434 Notice of Change of legal representative

...there is a claim number on the letter...if there was a CCJ against me and its now dropped off my credit file as its after 6 years are they sending me a N434 form as they intend to request another CCJ? Is that possible...i can't call anyone at the moment as I'm at work and we aren't allowed mobiles during work hours :-(

I certainly never attended court or submitted any forms relating to a CCJ and these letters are the first contact I've had regarding this debt in more than a decade...should I have just taken them up on the 12 month payment plan offer?

Okay, so they can't apply for another judgement, but they can apply to enforce the CCJ wither by a Warrant of Control, Writ of Control, Attachment of Earnings order or charge on your property if you own one.

If you haven't had the court paper work then you need to establish with the court when this CCJ was obtained and get copies of the claim form.

You then have the potential to set the judgement aside.
