Filing witness statements without address

Hi all,

I'm a claimant against a limited company (car dealer, small claims track)

I filed my evidence with the court and to the other side, but I realised I've not put the address (where it says "I, [name], the claimant in this case") in my witness statement or for the other two statements.

I sent an amended copy with a covering letter to the court and the other side with my address, but not for the other 2 statements.

Do you think the Judge would have an issue with this? All statements are dated and signed.

Common sense would say that the other side should agree to the amendment as the information being changed isn't affecting the case in any way, however the defendant might want to clutch at straws. If they object to the change they need to let you know and then you can apply to the court to amend the statement.

I'd wait to see if anything comes of it and post back here if necessary. I really think it'll just be accepted.

The important thing is that you have signed the Witness Statements with a "Statement of Truth". The statement of truth should say, "I beleive that the facts in this witness statement are true."
