presumably the actual cash loss is not the main grievance, so I would be inclined to await the CEO's return.
Acknowledge their email and extend the deadline by perhaps 7 days?
There's no mileage in having customer services deal with it if they have not been instructed by CEO's office.Comment

No des8 the actual cash loss is a major inconvenience and the stress it's put me through has been unwarranted but the main thing is the audacity of the company and the blatant theft. I don't know how to explain it without it sounding melodramatic but it's similar to having your house robbed if you get my meaning. I was always brought up knowing that actions have consequences. How many other young drivers have they ripped off without the knowledge of there rights? Hopefully this thread my help a few others alsoComment

Oops, sorry but wasn't belittling the cash loss (which at the moment seems to stand at £10 approx) but agree with you regarding the actions of the insurance intermediary and bank.Comment
