        Thank you, it says: are you asking for the court's permission to use the written evidence of an expert. If yes, state why and give the name of the expert (if known) and the area of expertise and the likely cost if appointed

                If it's the directions questionnaire, you ought to send the other side a copy. This is usually set out in the Notice of Proposed Allocation.

                  I am up 7th of July at 10 am. Court fee must be paid by 22nd May and my defence submitted by statement by the 12th June fingers cross for many more cases won before that

                    So you've filed your defence?

                    Call the court a few days after 22 May to confirm that he's paid the hearing fee then if so let us know and we'll make a start on your witness statement.

                      I have done the questionnaire saying where my local court is so will do that ring them up to see if he has paid and if so will submit my defence... Thank you again for all your support seeing people wins make me feel more confident that he is in the wrong and I wasn't just an idiot who should have know better

                        Witness Statement by 12th June xxx So yes good idea to call court about 23rd/24th May to see if he has paid before starting work on your WS.

                                Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service

                                Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

                                If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
