Re: *** Mandid v BPS - HEARING 3rd AUGUST

I am wondering if because I am off work sick although still in employment that the judge is questioning how I can be claiming £19 per hour as my time when he probably see's I have free time on my hands because I am off poorly. Maybe we shouldn't have tried to claim costs, although would like the £36 of printer ink costs back lol

And all my recorded postage which I have receipts for

The £19 an hour is claimable regardless of what you would have otherwise done with the time so you've got nothing to worry about.

Got that now thank you - you need to call the court - I think they have sent you the wrong order ( ie that should be for someone elses case - sounds like it should be for a personal injury case) so check with them your hearing is still on the 3rd August and that they have received witness statements from both parties already - oh and ask about the hearing fee too xx

Mandid has rung the court - sounds like they are in complete chaos. The order wasn't meant for Mandid and they are rescinding it. They have received UKS&S witness statement but haven't yet logged Mandid's from the drop box.

Meanly I'm kinda hoping RH doesn't realise its a wonky order and tries to comply with it lol.

Hi Amethyst I know you are away this weekend but when you are back next week I am just wondering about these skeleton arguements I keep seeing being mentioned? Do I need to do one of those in advance of my hearing on August 3rd?

Thanks and have a nice weekend.

                          Hi Mandid

We'd only suggest filing a skeleton argument if there are any points BPS's witness statement that need countering. I think you're due to get their witness statement by 10 July so lets wait and see. Skeletons can be filled as late as a couple of days before the hearing so there's no panic.

Yes sorry just re-read your thread. Amethyst will know whether a skeleton is necessary.

                              Are you counterclaiming?

I don't want to get complacent with these defences so I think if we can get a skeleton argument in we should. We have a few things we can add in to bolster your witness statement too now - the arrests and the ASA appeal Won't need to go in until a couple days before so see where we are towards the end of the month xxx
