Saville v Central Capital: Currently acting for the Claimants in their appeal to the Court of Appeal which is due to be heard in October 2013. The appeal concerns issues of causation and loss in respect of a broker’s breach of rules 4.3.1(1), 4.3.2(1) and 4.3.6. of ICOB. The broker failed to enquire as to the Claimants’ desired length of PPI cover. It is argued that insurance would not have been sold if the broker had discharged its duties and that the policy sold was unsuitable.
