Re: Red Hawk Legal ---- HELP!

I have had the same happen to me, had a claim with Lifestyle started in 2010, was handed over to Ultimate law, Life style went bust in oct 2012, i contacted Red Hawk Legal as they had bought out Lifestyle they didnt want to know as i had paid up front fees, last week , i got an offer from the credit card company, and Red Hawk legal have sent me an invoice for £270 and told me if i don't pay they will put it in the hands of a debt management company. I dont see why i should pay Red Hawk Legal they havent done anything , should i pay them ????

      No, don't pay them.

In order for us to advise in more detail can you let us know the following please?

      1) How much in up-front fees did you pay Lifestyle?

      2) Did Ultimate Law handle the claim that Redhawk have invoiced you for?

      3) If so did Ultimate law issue proceedings (ie make a court claim) in respect of the claim?

      4) Was the offer from the credit card company made to Redhawk, Ultimate Law or you directly?

      5) In the PDF document attached does your name appear in the list of creditors further down the document that are listed sideways? - Bear in mind the names are not in alphabetical order within their letter groupings.
