Hi everyone, Thanks in advance for any help that is given, you are all doing a great service.
I have today received a letter regarding my mint credit card refusing my PPI claim. This was taken out in January 2004. Basically they are telling me that I ticked the box requesting the PPI, copy has been sent to me.
they state that the policy was on a non-advice basis but from what i can recall when i phoned to organise the card i was told that this needed to be ticked, but I can not proof this. they also state that it had a 30 day cooling off period so I could have cancelled it.
At the end of the letter it states if I am unhappy with the decision I can contact the FOS.
Can I take this matter any further or is my claim at the end of the road?
I would appreciate any help that can be offered. If you require any further information please ask.
Thank you for your help and support.
