Well done Sandy do not let these CMC's people push you around.

30 days is a nonsense. Have you had the pack yet? if you have had you sent it back completed or just requesting your refund?

If you did not call the MOJ then Trading Standards peeps must of and that seems to me to be a good route especially in a case like yours where they took the money without your express permission and already had your credit card details. They have well and truely rocked the boat this time.

After a morning of calling them - they returned my phone calls & emails. First I got another cold call from them trying to do it all again!! Anyway I had someone from cancelations call me back - he was not a very nice man & was trying to make me still go ahead with the claim - I just kept saying no I just want to be refunded, in the end he accepted it & said it will take up to 30 days to get the refund. I have also called my credit card company back as it shows on my statement now. They told me to post a letter recorded delivery to Lifestyle, then post them proof of this along with Lifestyles T&C's then they can look into it. As well as this I have Swansea trading standards email me back I have to fill in a questionnaire as they are aware of this company. Just this second I have had an email back from MOJ wanting me to call them so about to do that now.

No there was no mention of a pack being sent to me - someone was going to call & go through everything over the phone. But they won't do that as I have cancelled. I posted a recorded delivery letter to them last night to confirm the cancellation as my bank told me to do this.
They were still trying to get me to go ahead with the claim when I called to cancel they said if I go ahead wioth the claim I would get my money back within a couple of weeks but if I cancelled it will be up to 30 days. I just want the money back.
MOJ are suppsed to call me back today - I rang yesterday they saif they have a back log & will call me back today sometime.

Today I received a full refund from Lifestyle money! yeahh! I'm so glad. Thanks to everyone who helped me out. I will not be falling for this trick again!

Hi Sandy

I am absolutely delighted to hear that Lifestyle have refunded you in full = £704. It has taken a month to get your money back but at least they did it. Did they return the money to your credit card or did they send you a cheque?

They also refunded another one of our members a couple of weeks ago £3k in all and they held on to her money for 15 months with no claims. Until; she came here she was unaware she could get a refund.

You are welcome to stay around and help others in a similar situation to you or even try and reclaim any credit card or PPI mis-sold using template letters on the forums. It is free for you to use what ever you want.
