barclays cant find the paperwork

Hi everyone

I sent off my claim form to re caim miss sold PPI on my old mortgage I my paperwork is limited but I did submit the basic info such as when taken out address of mortgage and account numbers. I have recieved a letter Barclays returning my claim form saying they cant progress with this complaint as they are unable to locate this account and require more info.
Does anyone have any idea what I should do next

How old is the mortgage ?

The mortgage finished aprox 4 years

Have you sent off a Subject Access Request?? To Barclays in order to get all information connected with the account. If not do so straight away.
