  • Possible mis-sold PPI

    Hi,

This is my first post so if i mess up please forgive me.
I have been struggling financially and decided it may help if i canceled my payment protection cover for my credit card. I was told by am A&L customer service representative that i didnt qualify for protection cover due to my disability status. I have been paying this cover on both credit cards and loans for over 7 years. I was told if i could get proof of my disability payment they would try to rfund some money. My question is should i have been charged at all when i was up front and honest about my disability status and what should i do now...any advice would be appreciated.

    Thank you, Barb

    Re: Possible mis-sold PPI

If the policy you took out didn't cover you despite them being aware of your circumstances when you took it out then it was definately missold and you should be refunded the whole amount plus any interest you paid on it, plus an element of compensation.
