    Hi I've recently won a case from hsbc bank using this company my refund is going to be 1250 after tax of 120 however they are charging me 496 for their fee which is 30% + vat I've worked their fee out at 450 as I'm receiving 1250 however they are working the fee out on 1378 even though I'm not getting this amount does anyone know if this is correct??

    The figure should be worked out on your total refund. The tax liability is yours. So if your full refund is £1378, and you pay £128 tax on it, then their fee is still 30%+VAT on £1378 ( so 413.40+ vat@20% = £496.08 )
