I have a business overdraft of £25k from Lloyds that has been passed to Wecott and not sure how to respond. All i have is a statement saying the debt has been passed to them and request F&F within 7 days. I am now unemployed since the business went into liquidation.. Should I call them? i have taken some advice from the CAB as i can only realistically pay a token £1 month but could do with some advice. Please help.

Was the business that went into liquidation a Limited company and was the overdraft facility vested in the company or was it yours personally? -

IMO you would be best seeking some support here. There are various charities that will help you to get a repayment of £1.00 per month accepted. You can see my signature, or you could seek advice from CCCS, Payplan, CAB, or any other FREE debt advice charity. They'll complete a Common Financial Statement with you showing you're suffering financial hardship, and will make the offer on your behalf.

Thanks labman, i did take advice from the cab who were going to register me with cashflow, but havnt as yet and cant get hold of them is this something you can do?

does a business guarantee not have to be re-signed each year when you sit down with the bank manager on an annual basis to go through the accounts
