    As some of you may have seen I have been communicating with David Jack (lib dem stoke on trent parlimentary candidate) about his plans to 'rescue' customers of Cartel Client Review.

    I have felt uncomfortable with him and his motives since he began posting on his website principally attacking Cartel without hard evidence of the 'hundreds' of complaints from agents, master agents and customers.

    He has fallen out with the MOJ. The MOJ say that Carl Wright (MD of Cartel) assists and consults with the MOJ to expose 'non ethical' CMCs. They have also threatened him with libel action over disclosures he made about a meeting he had with an moj compliance Officer who basically said Cartel were untouchable.

    Anyway, taking that with a pinch of salt, it led to David inviting me to attend his ''seminars' to put forward the ''rescue package''.

    This then led to a company called Century21 contacting me about a follow up conference.

    I contacted Century21 as they professed to have had 1700 settled claims but when I checked them out were run from an estate agency and only registered with Companies House and with the MOJ Claims reg peeps in June as claims managers. The estate agents involved are EX cartel master agents.


    So they have sent me the pre conference information. Which I think is interesting myself. Commission structures and contracts (all attached below)

    Or do I just leave people to work it out for themselves whilst keep plugging away at people that they CAN deal with all the issues themselves and there are decent solicitors if it gets to a point they need to go to court (WHICH is unlikely in the end as the test cases are going to make it uneccessary).

    Could you also indicate as to whether you were a Master Agent or normal agent with Cartel so that we can group the right people together in the class action proceedings for the refund of fees.

    Thank you for your e-mail.Yes we also have an estate agency –part of the century 21 group with over 70 offices in the uk and over 8000 worldwide.We have handled 1700 cases so far-to litigation and 6000 plus in pipeline in the last few months. It is not a new direction-but there has been a lotof misinformation within the industry and it has taken us 3 years to arrive where we know what is needed legally and we have the required funding(2.5 billion).The A>T>E> is vital. The free audit within 48 hours –we know what is a potential claim-it avoids us taking unnecessary cases day one-it is not just if they have a loan or not. The wbsite is currently being updated. 83% on credit cards pass first audit but we have many more stats based on the particular product. Our next seminar will probably on 29 th October.     Thankyou for coming back to me. A further query if I may, on the Claims Regulation site it says Century21 Finance Claims only received authorisation in June 2009, and was incorporated at Companies House as a seperate entity in March/April 2009.

    How were claims dealt with by Century21 prior to receiving Authorisation ?

    I am e-mailing you on behalf of David Jack, Parliamentary Candidate for Stoke North and Director of the Association of Mortgage Victims whom you may recall has been running the campaign on ethical claims management in partnership with Century 21 Finance Claims.

    Please find attached the introducer pack in relation to the client rescue package recently discussed.


    We have now secured the model and are very confident of its operation and robustness. We are getting good audit results as well as good turn around on cases that simply haven’t got a claim and are therefore able to tell the client that they have no claim and refund them immediately, (something other claims firms are hanging on to for months and months after!) We have managed to log 140 court cases over 2 days in London Central Courts for 3 week's time. The results of these cases will be fully published –win or lose!

    It has only taken us 12 weeks or less in some cases, of the clients coming through the doors to get to this stage, something that other claims companies talk about but very rarely can we get any evidence of it actually happening. As David has stated on many occasions there is no need to hide behind secrecy everything we do must be open, transparent and above board for all to see.

    We are now holding a Training Day for representatives looking to introduce new clients to us.

    Commission Schedule for C21 reps

    The following commissions will be payable in accordance with the Rolling Sales Agreement and may be amended from time to time:

    For the sale of a Mortgage or Secured Loan or Previously Repossessed Unwind, Century 21 Finance Claims Limited product @ £495 (inclusive of vat) the representative shall be paid £200.00

    For the sale of a Car Finance, Personal Unsecured Loan, Century 21 Finance Claims Limited product @ £199 (inclusive of vat) the representative shall be paid £99.00

    For the sale of a Credit Card, Century 21 Finance Claims Limited product @ £199 and £250(inclusive of vat) the representative shall be paid £99.00

    Where a Representative sells a product for a partial initial fee (i.e. not £495) (Requires the written consent of Century 21 Finance Claims Limited) the Representative will be paid at the same percentage i.e. 40%.
    Example - £200 as a percentage of £495 = 40%
    Partial Initial Fee of £199 = 40% = £80.00
    The balance between the partial initial fee and the product fee of £495.00 is payable when the claim is successful (in addition to any success fee). The balance of the commission will be payable to the Representative upon receipt of these cleared funds.

    Where a Representative sells a product where the initial fee is deferred
    (Requires the written consent of Century 21 Finance Claims Limited) the Representatives commission will be paid when the claim is successful and the cleared funds have been received by Century 21 Finance Claims Limited

    All commissions will be payable on the first of each month. The Representative’s sales will be calculated up to the 25th of the preceding month.


    It should be noted that the above commissions:
    Shall only become payable on receipt of cleared funds from the customer.
    Shall have VAT added where applicable
