HOW many times can a company let down a customer?
Anna Westran is tearing her hair out over £1,021 which a claims firm won back from her credit card provider - but has so far failed to pass on to her.

Ann, aged 30, of Helmton Drive, Woodseats, says she was first told she'd get the money in AugustADVERTISEMENT

. But in October the firm, Cardiff-based Robertson Holbrook, said it hadn't got the money from Capital One.

In November she was told the cheque had been received and cashed back in August, she was even given a cheque number.

In December Anna says she was promised the cash again, then in January and three more times.

She said: "I have sent numerous letters of complaint."

Robertson Holbrook is the subject of several internet forum discussions about payments.

      ACTION

FINGERS crossed! the firm has promised to send the money and pay compensation.

A spokesman said: "I have been informed that a payment was authorised which has not been dispatched. We will raise a new payment and also pay her interest on the money to compensate for the delay."
I think everyone else has given up at the thought of court action sadly or been paid and not told us....

Good news today, Cento Client Review (who have also been struggling to repay customers up front fees) have repaid one customer after our intervention Just working on the rest now !

I haven't given up on court, I just need to wait till payday

When I spoke to the journalist that wrote the article he said he had spoke to...wait for it...Tom Jones, about my charges who had promised him I would get them back BLAH BLAH BLAH.

Who's guessing ''Tom Jones'' is Tim Russel, Paul Thompson and Mr White??

Re: ROBERTSON HOLBROOK - Failure to settle Customer Claims

Hi all, I need some help urgently please...

I am one of the unfortunate people that registered with Robertson Holbrook.

Recently I received a letter from them telling me they had secured £1000 back from the credit card company Monument.

I have been trying for weeks to get in touch with them to no avail....

Last week the telephone number for them was taking messages and I left a message.

I tried again today and now the number is not taking incoming calls (according to the automated message when I try to ring 0144 6747 238

What do I do now , have they gone bankrupt or something ? How can I get hold of my money if according to them they have already received it on my behalf ?

I am very distressed over this matter as £1000 to me is a very large sum of money and is desperateley needed at this present time.

                          Hope someone can help me.......

                          D.

Amethyst will be the best one to ask. But from what I can see you are not alone and others are in the same boat as you.

Have you tried calling the Ministy of Justice as they may have some up to date information.
