They pretend you are due a refund of PPI or charges and are from the government then ask which card number you would like the refund to. As if ! lol. Some people have lost £59.99 in some invented 'processing fee'

As much as it pains me to admit it, I'm one of the people who has lost money to these sharks. I'm appalled by my stupidity to be quite honest, and disappointed I let this woman push me to become so exposed to give over my details.
I have now changed my financial details, but would anyone be able to offer any advice as to what my legal standpoint would be in recovering the money. I have written to them asking for a refund, and spoke to them today (15/12) reiterating my request. But as you would expect, so far it's fallen on deaf ears.
Would anyone have any further ideas?
