    Hi everyone

Just registered, and this is my first forum, think I posted first intoduction in wrong area, bare with me people.

Someone from Centro Client Review contacted me saying they claim money back off my mortgage. I have read some previous postings and get the feeling I should avoid them?

I told them I have a mortgage which started in Feb 2007 with GMAC and that Amber Home Loans took this over a while later, they said this should be ok. Is the correct? Can I do this myself? and if so how? are there lots of forms or letters to write?

    Please help.

Hello Brightonsoul and welcome to Legal Beagles. I hope you find this first use of a forum educational. There are many members here that can help you in many areas of financial and debt matters, please feel free to post any of your concerns/questions. If they are not in the correct place do not worry too much.

What monies exactly are you trying to recover from your mortgage company and why?

Was there a reason that Amber Home Loans took over this account and are you managing to meet the payments?

      Re: Centro

Hello, I belive GMAC 'sold the book on', one day I was paying money to GMAC and the next I was told Amber Home loans would take over the payments, everything stayed the same, account number, deal etc. Have never missed mortgage payments. Centro are saying because some of these companies do not disclose charges clearly, or contracts are not clear, they seem to think I can get some money back or even have the mortgage made void, I think thats how they explained it?

        Re: Centro

I think there were some issues when some mortgage / loan books were sold over that the paperwork didnt go with them and wasn't done correctly, if you have a search of posts by Kafka about derbyshire home loans I think there was a discussion around the issues there.
