I have come across this forum tonight after typing in the name of someone who has ripped off many people of thousands of pounds - including my family!

I made a complaint to the MOJ many months ago about the fraudulent behaviour of this vile man.

My concern was that whilst he continued to be authorised it was giving him the 'go ahead' to financially hurt others - and unfortunately he did!

I am therefore exceptionally pleased to see that his authorisation has now been cancelled in September 09. He therefore, will HOPEFULLY be unable to continue rogue trading and other unsuspecting people will not get stung!
His name however, will continue to sicken me - probably for a lifetime!

I am sorry that your family was ripped off by this company.

The quicker that the MOJ get on to dealing with these rogue companies the better.

I myself am keeping a close eye on Cento Client Review, it has been reported that the telephone lines have been disconnected.

OK -

Paid the £250 as was told he wouldn't release the settlement cheque without it. Cheque was cashed immediately! Did not receive the afore mentioned 'settlement cheque' and instead received several 'blags' for months and months and was led to believe that the bank charges case was on hold in the Courts, then our file had 'gone missing,' then he was too busy to deal with us as he is an accountant and doing everyones tax returns. Kept on hasseling him and eventually asked for the £250 back by way of a formal complaint.

I rang the bank (who had closed the account the year before) eventually to check whether a claim had ever been made on our behalf (as I was now under the impression it hadn't been). Nearly passed out on the phone when I was informed that the claim had been settled and a cheque had been sent to our agent at iwantmychargesback.co.uk AND CASHED by him!!!!!! (about a week after I sent him the £250).

Have since learned that he has done far worse (£££) than the £1400 we lost. Just feel gutted that innocent people have been financially hurt by IT. Hopefully however, no one else will now!

Unfortunately, these companies have a way of (mis)selling their service and informing prospective clients that they are going to receive £1000's back in charges etc and con them out of serious money.

I am watching very closely another claims management company called Cento Client Review as so far not one person has ever received any money back despite promises and them having parted with loads of money and Cento keep on changing the goal posts.

Did you by any chance contact the local trading standards in the area where Mark Bateman operated from as they may well have others in the same boat as you and if any of them have already complained the TS may be planning action against him. It is out and out fraud and you should also consider reporting this matter to the police. That was not his money - it was your money.
