Mike Dailly and the Govan Law Centre are good and all strength to their arm. They have always said the battle would continue even when the access to legal aid was withdrawn in Scotland.

The strength of these rules is they are general principles – unlike the rigid UTCCR or CCA – so there is less scope for expensive lawyers to argue how many angels can dance on the head of a pin.
Might the answer to that question depend on how much room was taken up by the celestial band stand?

FSA Rules v 'core term' (surely the banks wouldn't try to trot out the 'reasonable charge for service' argument?)

I reckon a word of caution is in order. The last attempt Mike Dailly had at a bank charges 'test case' was an expensive failure and the case now languishes in the 'where are they now' file. Oddly enough he never quite found the time to report it on his website.
