  • Success with hardship case in Scarborough

Another claimant has had a stay lifted in the last few days at Scarborough.

    Details are posted OTR

This seems to be a case with similarities to Tempty's, genuine hardship well presented. A&L are the bank.

I've only just discovered that this case was settled just before court in late October. The bank tried lower offers but the claimant held out, eventually getting almost everything back. They bottled it at the very last moment, but a very happy ending.

Kafka, it does seem that Alliance and Leicester are the only bank/former Building Society who seem to lose their nerves at the last minute. I am sure there is other evidence of this.

I thought it could help my hardship claim as well, I did ask over otr on this thread, if she could let me have her claim no and details but so far she has not responded. If you have been lucky enough to find this info out for Tempy can you also let me have the details as my case for lift of stay is going to be heard has been transferred to Central London Courts and will be heard by a top Civil Judge. As much info as I can gather will help me prepare for this. Amethyst helped me with my stay lift application and for the hearing at my local court. Now I have a situation where I need to get every bit of info to fight with.
