    Re: lloyds scums

am not calling you anything Caspar dnt worry... I dont mind as long as I will get some answers and help to prove my rights. I do not pay council tax as I am a student but I do pay road tax, car repairs and MOT when is necessary. hope that helps.
as far as am aware leclerc already transferred my IE sheet to the hardship forums and yes I will be waiting for the response from you guys before I make any steps. although I was unable to pay Lloyds for loan AND CHARGES last month so I will need to do something asap.

To clarify re moving the thread to the Hardship Forum, Sapphire who is site team has done so.

Something that seems odd is the phrase "and MOT when it is necessary", do you mean you pay it when it is due?

I do want to clarify one thing, how did the account go into the red in the first place, ie what was the cause of the charges?

My link was to a more formal Income / Expenditure sheet which I think you (and we) would find more useful in order to advise you. If you could transfer the info - it will also cover some of the things you may have forgotten to include and automatically calculate pro rata payments for you.

leclerc: yes I mean by 'when MOT...' when its due, and the other answer would be in april they took out overdraft interest and silver account charges what brought me to red (£8)for a week. so they charged me £78.39 in the following month. than in June unauthorized transaction has been made by amazon and they took £50 from me so I had to increase my overdraft limit to get rid of overdraft charges - been told by Lloyds. than surprise- surprise Lloyds charged me again (overdraft interest and card charges)and went overdrawn once again.a month later I found out they charged me £120 because of amazons unauthorized transaction, which took me deep into red. thats when I took the loan agreement as the only option left according to the bank .... when I agreed I ve been told there will be no further charges - I believed it and now I am in the same situation...feel like going in circles..

If you follow the link near the top of post #11 it takes you to more detailed IE sheets.

Was there an overdraft on the account because you cannot accrue interest on an overdraft if you haven't got one?

so they charged me £78.39 in the following month. than in June unauthorized transaction has been made by amazon(please explain this? Are we talking fraud? or was the transaction made and Lloyds charge because there was insufficient funds in the account to cover the card payment?) and they took £50 from me so I had to increase my overdraft limit to get rid of overdraft charges - been told by Lloyds. than surprise- surprise Lloyds charged me again (overdraft interest and card charges)and went overdrawn once again.a month later I found out they charged me £120 because of amazons unauthorized transaction, which took me deep into red. thats when I took the loan agreement as the only option left according to the bank .... when I agreed I ve been told there will be no further charges - I believed it and now I am in the same situation...feel like going in circles..

The amazon issue is on that interests me. Why was it unauthorised? What was it for and was it fraud?

                  Re: lloyds scums

I had an overdraft limit of £500 originally and yes they are monthly charges for that. I had enough money to cover the overdraft charges but they also charged me for the silver account I had with the bank. that made me overdrawn.
yes amazon took money out of my account without my knowledge. I called Lloyds about this and they told me to call amazon but it already made me go over the limit and only was able to get the money back 5days later, so I had to increase my overdraft limit....unfortunately the charges were already on my account so could not do a thing.

                    Re: lloyds scums

I did have £500 overdraft limit what I was covered for but when they took out the silver account charges I went overdrawn because I did not have enough money on my account.
i used to shop at amazon for books to university but never signed up for subscription. that day amazon turned around and charged me £49 for membership which I never agreed to. when I called them about the situation they just told me that if I dont want subscription I can cancel it - what I never even opened in the first place. basically they used my details to open a membership for me WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION and took the money out of my account which made me overdrawn once again.

                      Eryca,
I still think we're putting the cart before the horse here. Let's get a proper IE sheet done and looked at, deal with that, then deal with the "side issues" one at a time.

We are looking at two issues intrinsically related:
                        1) the cause of excessive charges which is Amazon
                        2) the misselling of a packaged account with a fee attached.
Yes an I&E form is needed but imho that may not get the OP very far apart from a payment plan to repay the amount owed including excessive charges and the misselling.

This is weird as we both agree with each other lol! It's just HOW to go about it. I'd be inclined to sort the account first then deal with the Amazon deal. You would do both together.

Both would gain the same end result, so guess it's up to OP to decide!
