Re: Please could I get some advice on what to do? HSBC

    Hi Di,

We lived at the property from when I bought it in 2004 (which was the start of the loan) until we left in May 2014. I had a mortgage on my marital home with my x so they said I couldnt have another mortgage and gave me this instead. My Company accounts were with HSBC and I knew the manager really well because it was doing well and so I trusted him - more fool me. I didnt understand why, as I had a limited company, they put the loan in my name and not the companys as I wasnt a sole trader - we were ltd.

It was repossessed through the Court. They started repossession in 2011. They finally did it in May 2015. I had given them back the keys in May 2014 when I left. They didnt listen to me, I offered them all of the 15k. I asked for a normal mortgage which would have been less - and affordable - I pay lots more in rent now but they completely ignored me and there was no pre court protocol.

    Thanks

    Mum

A complaint to the ICO might be in order here ... if you've paid twice for your info and received nothing in return https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations...ccess-request/
