I have been invited by RW to register on their resolution site to make an offer to clear the balance on one of my accounts.

It gives you a chance to make an offer to pay immediatley or over 3 months.

Did you have a look at their site PKea? I've never had to deal with RW but read alot about them, just wondering if the idea for a resolution site is a good one.

Moorcroft allow you to make payment offers, ste up DD's etc online too.

Ok here is what happens:

Step 1)
Letter drops through the letterbox, which normally I don't bother reading, not because I'm avoiding them, but they send a letter every month month telling me my £1 is due in a week, but i decide to open it later.



Ok Then, I chance to settle my debt at a REDUCED rate PLUS in installments, An offer not to be refused.



Memorize the details, you will find out later

Step 2)
Fire up the Firefox and off to the website we go, eager to get a bargain in the Debt sales



Ok I enter my Invitation code with baited breath



And up pops a screen with the debt I owe, and I have 3 chances to Win, I mean settle my debt in full and final.
So here goes, I owe them £260 quid, so 10% would be £26, but I'm feeling generous and round it up to £30. Oh nearly forgot I dont have to pay it at once, so I will pay it over 2 months at £15.
Lets press enter and see if we're a winner

But now I'm addicted, its like those online lottery games, so I have another go

Lets see how much Fun RWs automated dialer has with their fax machine from now on.

And basically that is the wonderful cutting edge Online Debt resolution centre from Robinson Way.

To be honest, I bet it wouldn't accept anything under £175 on my account, and as I could stop payments anyway through the lack of a CCA, I bought the goods so I will pay for them, be at £1 a month, which If I work it correctly would mean they probably only stand to get about £50 of the total debt paid anyway.

LMAO OMG I laughed all the way through that!! You made it sound like a bit of online shopping!!
So really, when it boils down to it, their 'online debt resolution' is no different to their normal way of doing things..their terms and not yours!:rolleyes2:

Well as I have been paying this now at £1 a month, they have offered me the chance to settle if i pay 50% over 3 months



As they cant back this debt up with CCA, I may just make an even lower offer as F&F and that will be the only offer they will recieve, and if they do not accept that then no further payments will be made.

Or I may just ignore this and they have the £1 a month as they do now.
