I have sent a notice of correction asking them to take it off my file as I requested a copy of the agreement under s77 some three years ago and they never sent one. I also understand that next never used an agreement that was compatible with the CCA. Is it worth sending off another s 77 request to Capquest? If so, how do I find the account number, the address and who actually the debt is for and who defaulted me?
The account on Noddle only shows the last 4 numbers.
The CRA cannot remove or amend the entry a CCJ is a matter of public record not a normal credit file entry.
The only way would have been to apply for judgement to be set aside but this has to be done swiftly after
    the judgement is made.
The previous request yo made and the original agreement are of no consequence as the judgement supersedes
    the agreement.
If you want to do anything it must be addressed to Capquest as the owner of the debt and after 5 years they
likelihood is they will not be interested.

Offering to pay the debt off in full may be away around this but the entry on credit files
will be marked " satisfied" and remains on file for 6 years from the date of the judgement.

Apologies Pepper doing to many things at once.

The default has to be taken up with Capquest via their Data Controller, the problem
here is that although Capquest's name is on the entry the default will have been registered
            by the original creditor.

Capquest is unlikely to be interested after 5 years and I would expect them to state that
they have only continued to report the data supplied by the creditor at the time they acquired
            the debt.
If you need to get further information a Subject Access Request to the original creditor for
all the " personal data " it holds on you.
