We have just registered and are new to this forum. We have been reading with interest letters on the forum regarding RMG appointing a property debt collection agency. The letters we have seen so far are back in 2012/2013 and we wonder is there anyone currently having a problem with RMG. They have closed our account so we cannot pay them and they will not answer us. We have now typed another lengthy letter to the Managing Director of RMG which we are going to send registered. We are saying that we will wait ten days for them to reply before we contact the Ombudsman. Should we contact of OFT and/or Consumer Direct. There is no way I am paying the debt collection fees £192 plus and RMG charges for late payment when we have paid up to the end of June 2015. They took our payments and issued us with receipts. We would love to hear from other people who have dealings with them.

I have had similar issues and if you trawl through the internet it is a recurring theme. It appears there are strong links between RMG and PDC and they simply keep adding fees between themselves. In my view they need to be reported to the OFT and any other investigating authority.

It would be the FCA http://www.fca.org.uk/ or CMA https://www.gov.uk/government/organi...kets-authority ( probably FCA) rather than the OFT now.
