Oh and never sign any letter you send them always print, DCA's have been known to copy and paste signatures, and always use a postal order cheques have signatures, and always send record or special delivery for proof of delivery And finally here's the link to make sure they received it phew

Actually as this debt is SD there is little to be gained in a CCA.
I'd be more inclined to throw a nice little SD letter at them

i had the same problem only the debt they said i owed wasnt mine so i sent them a letter and another diffrenet one they were addament it was my debt so i send another letter low n behold they wrote it off they had nothing to prove it was mine iv you need athe letters i used please do let me know

I paid it off...............Couldnt be arsed battling and if the truth be known I owed the debt anyway. So this is now settled.
