Looking at companies house we have.

SHOPACHECK FINANCIAL SERVICES LIMITED
Date of Incorporation: 05/11/2009

In other words, this debt cannot be more than say 5 years old, so any default associated with it would certainly be new enough to go on your credit files if Freds/HPL have taken over the right to share the credit account data and shopacheck at that time reported defaults.

Well they sent their prove it 3 days before you did, so fingers crossed for a "we give up letter" in the post soon.

but I've just checked track & trace and it hasn't been updated since I posted it on the 21st

I would contact RM and ask. I have had a couple over the years that never did show any sign of delivery on track and trace, but when I phoned up they eventually confirmed it had been delivered. Got the cost back in free stamps for those as well.

It took long enough - but I got a letter from Robinson Way this morning:

Not quite as conclusive as the one I linked to earlier on in the thread, but RW at least obviously think it is a lost cause.

Now to see if HPH try to chance their luck another way. If they (still) think it is yours.
